Red Salute to all Comrades, who participated in One day's Strike  on 12.12.12.

12-12-12 ALL INDIA STRIKE - HISTORIC SUCCESS CONGRATULATIONS!  WELL DONE COMRADES!!

·         100% STRIKE IN MAJORITY OF POSTAL CIRCLES

·         AVERAGE 75-80% STRIKE IN ALL CIRCLES.

·         80% OF THE POST OFFICES & RMS OFFICES INCLUDING BOs REMAINED CLOSED.

·         DELIVERY WORK COMPLETELY PARALYSED DUE TO STRIKE BY DELIVERY STAFF.

·         80 - 100% STRIKE IN CIRCLE/REGIONAL OFFICES.

·         IMPRESSIVE STRIKE IN POSTAL ACCOUNTS OFFICES.

·         70 - 100% GRAMIN DAK SEVAKS PARTICIPATED IN THE STRIKE INSPITE OF ANTI CONFEDERATION, ANTI-NFPE PROPAGANDA BY CERTAIN VESTED INTERESTS.

In Tamluk Division All offices (where our member were in charge) were closed. There was heavy picketing of our comrades at Tamluk H.O. There was also picketing at Divisional Office. There was some FNPO members. They didn't try to enter into the office. Police picket was also there. Environment was peaceful till 11:30 AM.

But at about 11:30 AM some political goons ,called by the FNPO members , attacked on our comrades and make way to the FNPO members though we never denied their entry. Same incident happened at Divisional Office after the attack at Tamluk H.O.

We condemn such act of the FNPO and the local political powers.

WE OBSERVED  GATE  MEETING  ON 14.12.12 AT  ALL  DIVL  HQs  ALL OVER WEST BENGAL TO  REPORT  THE  SUCCESS  OF  THE  STRIKE  AND  THE  COURAGE  OF  COMRADES  UNDER  POLITICAL  ATTACKS.
