Strike Deferred

Proposed indefinite strike w.e.f 07.10.09 has been deferred.

JCA met on 05.10.09 reviewed the situation and decided to defer the proposed indefinite strike from 07.10.2009

Details of the Cabinet decision is still unknown. After the implementation, future decision will be taken demanding modification in the orders as per the demands of our union.

stay in demonstration on 16-9-2009 at DO, Tamluk

At the call of Postal JCA, the members of NFPE, Tamluk staged a stay in demonstration at the office of the Supdt of Post Offices, Tamluk Dn on 16-9-2009 from 10-00 hours to 17-00 hours to raise the protest voice against long delay in revision of TRCA and other benefits to GDS employees . About 75 comrades participated in the programmee.
