Sub: Regarding early joining of newly selected Postal Assistants in the year 2013-2014.

Dear Sir,

             You are well aware that 17 (seventeen) candidates have been selected in the vacant posts of Tamluk Division in the year 2014 but they couldn’t join in the Department due to delay in settlement of pre-appointment formalities. We came to know that all the candidates already submitted the desired documents to your office timely. But due to lack of sincere intervention, candidates of this Division can’t join in the Service, whereas other Divisions like Barasat made it possible to join all the candidates in the month of February by taking sincere efforts.

We had drawn your personal serious attention in the Courtesy Visit to the fact of acute shortage of Staff in Tamluk Division and how our staffs are overburdened. And now after launching of Sukanya Samriddhi Account in Post Offices, staffs of this Division specially Group-C officials are spending nights in the office to complete day’s work. In this suffocating situation joining of 17(seventeen) new Postal Assistants may bring some oxygen to the staffs.

This union therefore, urges upon you kindly to take necessary personal steps to complete pre-appointment formalities by engaging special messenger or otherwise, so that 17 new Postal Assistants may join in the Department as early as possible.
